
Bananas. Chocolate. Walnut. Period.

Ingredients:
- 2 medium sized over- riped bananas
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 cocoa
- 6 T softened butter
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c buttermilk
- 1t vanilla extract
- 3/4 walnuts
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mash bananas with fork and set aside
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder
- In a stand mixer with paddle attachment cream together butter and both sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add vanilla.
- Add in dry ingredients alternating with the buttermilk. 3 additions of the dry ingredients and 2 for the buttermilk. Do not overmix
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Reserve a little for toppings.
- Transfer into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper
- Bake for about an hour or until done. Do the toothpick test.
